Our Story
Copper Circle is the name of the new entity created in 2023 by the merging of A New Lease on Life & Education Foundation.
The two organizations have pooled their resources to be more effective in creating change in the spaces of ending homelessness and improving professional development within the local rental housing industry.
The Board of Directors and Board Committee Members were guided through a naming, mission, and vision process by local nonprofit consultants over the course of six months. After narrowing down a list of over 120+ possible names, Copper Circle was voted on and approved.
When asked what Copper Circle means, Members of the process shared the following:
- Copper: An essential material for building, Metal of spiritual healing, Essential to all living things
- Circle: Inclusiveness, Universal energy, All encompassing, Eternity, Movement that never ends towards self-realization
